Our founder and president, Monica Sofia Silva Duarte, a Cape Verdean-born woman with excellent knowledge of the local conditions and contacts, who founded the Hope Cabo Verde Foundation in 2016 and the Czech-Cape Verde Chamber of Commerce in 2020, has been actively involved in developing strong economic and cultural ties between the Czech Republic and Cape Verde.
